Terms and Conditions
 

1.

RIGHT FOR YOU TO CANCEL YOUR CONTRACT

You cannot change or cancel Your order if the Goods You have ordered are manufactured, measured or custom made to Your requirements or specifications, as these Goods will not be resalable by Us. We regret that once Your order has been accepted by Us in relation to such Goods and entered on Our manufacturing process We are unable to accept any changes to these Goods or cancellation of Your order.

 

2.

CANCELLATION BY US

We have the right to cancel Your order if:

2.1

We have insufficient stock to deliver the Goods You have ordered.

2.2

One or more of the Goods You have ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error in the pricing information.

2.3

If We do cancel Your order We will notify You by phone/email and will re-credit you as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of Your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered.
 

3.

MEASUREMENTS AND FITTING SERVICE

3.1

We make every effort to carry out measuring and fitting appointments on the date and time agreed. The appointment time is an estimate given in good faith. If for any reason We learn that the estimated time is inaccurate We will inform You Using the contact numbers You have given Us.

3.2

If We attempt to visit You at the time and date agreed and no one is present We shall make reasonable effort to contact You Using the telephone numbers You have provided. We will not be obligated to wait for You to return or to offer an immediate alternative appointment time.

3.3

You will be responsible for providing full and unobstructed access to any areas relevant to the measuring and fitting of the blinds. If We are unable to obtain this access We reserve the right to not carry out works until such time as We consider appropriate.
 

4.

STOCK SHORTAGES

If the Goods You ordered are unavailable We will notify You as soon as possible and suggest a suitable replacement.
 

5.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND MEASUREMENT

5.1

Where the Goods that You order are manufactured according to the measurements You provided in Your order it is very important that Your measurements are accurate. We cannot accept the return of the Goods by reason of the measurements given being incorrect. You are advised to call Us directly or contact Us by email if You would like guidance on how to take the required measurements accurately.

5.2

Whilst every attempt will be made by Us to ensure that the Goods sold match in every respect any sample or description shown or given or sent to You, any minor or immaterial variation or change in colour pattern between the sample or description and the Goods delivered shall not entitle You to reject the Goods nor claim any compensation for such variation or change.
 

6.

DEFECTIVE GOODS (COURIER TAXI OR DELIVERIES)

6.1

Colour Blinds warrant that all Goods sold to You will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of
12 months from delivery of the Goods to You.

  6.2

If Your Goods are defective on delivery or a defect arises within the following 12 months. You are entitled to return them to
Us provided You have first contacted Us through the email address shown on our Web site, or by telephone, giving Us
details of the defects, but only if We have agreed that the Goods should be returned to Us.

DELIVERY TIMES

7.1

We cannot guarantee and exact time and date that Your blinds will be supplied and fitted.

7.2

Supply and fitting is usually 14 to 21 working days from the order being placed, You will be informed at the earliest time if this is going to take longer.

8

PAYMENTS

8.1

When goods are ordered a deposit of 40% of the total value of the goods shall be paid upon ordering, unless a purchase order is given at the time but this only applies if
You are a commercial customer.

8.2

All blind supplies and fitted by Colour Blinds shall be paid in full at the time of completion of fitting or within 15 working days of completion if you are a commercial

customer.

8.3

If goods are not paid within at the time given, 5% interest will be added to the total cost of the blinds and You may lose the right for any credit or supplies on future
orders.

8.4

Failure to pay after in full after another 15 days will result in legal action to be taken against YOU.
